What is the benefit of becoming a Houston Arts Pass member?

If you have ever wanted there to be one online location to find out about arts performances. happening on any given day in Houston, then you’re in the right place! HAP is a platform that showcases Houston’s vibrant arts offerings, and makes it easy to participate and connect while exploring what our city has to offer
Can I purchase tickets for friends of family and/or transfer them for someone else to use?

Yes! As long they use the name on the Houston Arts Pass membership when picking up tickets at will call then you are welcome to transfer your tickets. Tickets will only be reserved under the member's name.
Why are ticket prices different for each show?

The pricing is determined by individual arts companies for the tickets sold on our site. Due to the wide range and variety of arts happening in Houston, ticket prices can be determined by factors such as demand, venue size and the arts companies’ individual pricing models. Individual tickets sold through Houston Arts Pass range from $25 - $80.
Why can’t I buy more than 2 ticket (single membership) or 4 tickets (couples’ membership) at a time?

Performing arts organizations perform in dozens of different venues all over Houston. Each venue has its own unique qualities and sizes vary from one venue to another – which is what makes Houston an awesome place for the arts to thrive! With that, there are seating restrictions that make it challenging to seat large groups through the Houston Arts Pass platform. We work directly with arts presenters to provide exposure for what they do and grow their audiences. Can I gift a Houston Arts Pass to a friend or family member?

Yes of course! When you purchase your membership, you will be asked to provide a name, email, and phone. We recommend that when you purchase the pass you use the information for the person receiving the membership. Click here to purchase now
Are refunds allowed once I purchase a ticket?

Refunds are not allowed – but there’s a good reason, we promise! When you buy tickets through Houston Arts Pass, the venue reserves seats for you. The ticket revenue from Houston Arts Pass, not only goes back in part to the individual non-profit organizations, but you’re supporting the greater arts community. Houston Arts Pass is a locally run company that aims to grow the arts community, so that arts groups can continue to thrive and make our city a great place. If you'd like to allow someone else to use your ticket(s) then please request that they use the name on your membership at will call to pick up to retrieve your tickets and enjoy the show!
Why can’t I buy tickets less than 24 hours before a performance through Houston Arts Pass?

When you purchase tickets through Houston Arts Pass, the presenter is contacted to make a reservation for you to pick up your tickets at will call. We want to eliminate any risk of something going awry which is why we require a buffer of 24 hours before the start time of any performance in order to ensure that your reservation is complete and so that you have an optimal experience while attending performances.
